How product links and images are handled.

FilamentSetup names the commercial relationships and evidence limits that sit beside its product references.

Affiliate links

FilamentSetup is free and has no ads. If you buy through our Amazon links, you pay the same price and we earn a small cut, which helps keep the guides coming. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

Product references

Product references are selected for a stated job and identify the exact listing details recorded by the guide. Retailer pages can change their price, seller, availability, packaging, and variant information. Check the current listing and the manufacturer profile before ordering or printing.

Images

Most product images are locally stored manufacturer-sourced assets. The cardboard-spool, dryer, and storage-kit cards in the October 2026 guides use local WebP derivatives of the exact Amazon listing images linked from those cards. Retailer images are not hotlinked. Images help identify the pictured product and are not evidence for specifications, price, stock, seller, rating, or performance. A pictured product family may not match every color or packaging variation in a selected listing.

Editorial limits

A product reference is not a guarantee of quality, compatibility, safety, price, or performance. The methodology explains how manufacturer guidance, listing facts, and unknowns are kept separate.
